Lia's first birthday was a wonderful time. :) We had a wonderful night at Grandma and Grandpa Lock's house, with pizza and then cake. Lia figured out how to open her presents pretty quickly... she got it down fast and then went through them. I think she took an awesome haul for someone so little; she got some really great toys! :) Thanks again to Grandma and Grandpa Lock for letting us use their house, making the cake and the awesome presents!

This present is actually an assorted pack of wooden whistles. Apparently when Chris was a toddler, GG (great grandma!) gave Chris a slide-whistle which he then proceeded to play all day every day until Linda was going to tear out her hair. Karma. But I'm going to hide said whistle and only bring it out when I leave Lia with Chris. :)
