Dad's coming home!

So I posted pictures of Lia yesterday waiting for her Dadddy and these are pictures of her as she sees him getting out of his car.

Playing with a box. She had just gotten her adorable little coverall and slippers from Auntie Ems and was having a ball with the box.

We've started a new tradition. Every night (or the ones where I'm not rushing around) when Chris calls and says he's on his way home, Lia and I go sit by the door. Sometimes we'll chill on the porch, other times (like tonight), Lia sits right in the doorway while I read a book next to her. She sings and babbles to herself, plays with my sunglasses, nibbles on my purse... And then we see Daddy. You should see Lia's eyes light up. Today, she was so happy to see her Daddy that she started jumping as high as she could and giving garbled squeals of excitement.

I know its been a while since I posted but we've been busy! And I had a card full of pictures but for some reason, my camera decided to eat them- I think it was because I didn't format it properly...

This is how Lia always looks when she's swinging- she loves it. She sticks her tongue out to taste the air rushing past.

What's wrong with this picture?

Yes, so I'm biased. But I don't care. :) Lia is the most adorable, sweet little person ever. I mean, LOOK AT HER!! Isn't she cunning beyond words? These pictures were taken during our few days of 90+ degree weather.

Seriously, isn't she just too cute for words? Her round chubby cheeks, her cute little mouth, her button nose?

We took Lia to the beach this morning for the first time and this is a series of pictures of her and Chris as they ran towards the waves and then back again. I'll be posting lots more pictures soon, I promise! :)

So I just figured out something neat. Before it would take me about twenty minutes to post pictures on the blog, but if you use Picasa you can just throw them on your blog in a matter of seconds. However, bad thing is that you can only post four pictures at a time, so it looks like I'll only have four pictures to a post. :)


This was Clare and Eric (sorry for the blur). It was so funny, Clare would come running at Eric and he would jump into the air and she would run under him. He got some air!
