This morning

Davy is the cutest, fattest little lovebug in the whole wide world. Sleeping next to him and snuggling his fat little body just warms the cockles of my heart. This morning he and Lia are sleeping in since they're both sick but I couldn't resist getting a few shots of him.

Look at those chubby little arms! He always sleeps with them either spread out, or right inf ront of his face.

Davy loves wrapping his hands in his blankets and then sucking on his hands or else waving them around. He looks so cute all wrapped up in his blanket. :)

Lia does this alot. She literally lays right on top of him and gives him these big huge wet slobbery kisses. Good thing the kid's durable...

Sleeping baby

I love it when my babies are asleep. Not only because its so nice and quiet but because they look SO cute and sweet. Davy in particular is just cherubic when he's asleep.

We ended up finally at the Wharf where I tenaciously clung to the back of Lia's jacket as she peered through the fence at the sea lions. We ran up and down the wharf, peered through the spaces between the boards of the walkway, watched seagulls swoop overhead as Lia screamed in delight, got an ice cream cone, sat on the freezing bench and snuggled as we ate it. We had a good time.

This afternoon, my incredible mom and sisters graciously agreed to watch Davy (graciously, since we've been over there every single day this week...) so that Lia and I could go on a little date of our own. Ever since Davy got here, the two of us really haven't gotten to strike out on our own, so I wanted to do something just the two of us. I had it all planned out, we were going to go to the Museum of Natural History! I always loved looking at all of the stuffed animals so I assumed Lia would too.

Poor Lia was quite frankly terrified of most of the animals (except for the birds) and clung to my leg the whole ten minutes we were in there. Oh well. We then headed down the road for the beach...





That wasn't so warmly receieved either... Lia clung to my leg again for larger part of the time we were there.
