Fun times.

So Lia is in love with her Aunt Katzie. She started reaching her arms out to Kate whenever she's around... and... well... she only just started doing that with ME. :) We love it whenever Aunt Katzie comes over to help- I get to clean, take a shower, eat with two hands, its awesome. Plus, we always have a blast.

So it was around 85 degrees or so this afternoon so Lia is in her diapers. She was enjoying kicking this water bottle around.

I think its so funny how her chin touches her chest when she sits like this.

And this was the dress she wore for most of the day. Or its really a romper I guess.

We spend money on toys for Lia. She has LOTS of toys. But this seems to be her new favorite thing. Last night she had both arms wrapped around it as she hugged it with her chubby little arms.

So Lia hasn't been being the total angel that she used to be. Don't get me wrong, she's a fantastic little person and I love her dearly but lately she won't go to anyone else except me. She yells whenever anyone but Chris or I hold her. Its frusterating and tiring. Anyhow, hopefully she grows out of this soon...

So Lia has a new nickname. :) The checker at the grocery store has started to always call her Amandita Chiquita. :) Annie, you'll remember the checker- remember Ana? :) Anyhow, I think its cute but its quite a mouthful, try to say that five times fast! :) Anyhow, I took a couple pictures yesterday of Lia so I thought I'd post them.

So... we decided being parents wasn't all it was cracked up to be. So we decided to sell Lia...

JUST KIDDING!

Christopher thought this post was not funny because apparently people sell children a lot on the black market. But I figured everyone would know it was a joke.

Anyhow, the reason for the large amount of cash is that I sold my Canon 40D because I couldn't figure it out. It was a great camera, but I don't like Canon. Believe me, I desperately wanted too. I wanted to be the professional photographer with the big huuuuge Canon 40D when I went on shoots but it just wasn't me. So I'm using the money I got from selling it to buy another camera, the Sony a700 which is going to be AWESOME! I can't wait. :)

Darn it!

So I didn't bring my camera for two things and I'm mentally kicking myself...

1) Lia went to the racetrack for the first time on Saturday. She had a wonderful time, getting shown off, getting lots of sun and seeing what her Dad loves to do.

2) Lia in Grandma and Grandpa Lock's pool for the first time. She loved it, she splashed and smiled. Then Grandma Lock brought out a little bucket for her to sit in all by herself which she looked SO cute in. She was nekid and wearing butterfly sunglasses. :)

So yes. Two things that I SHOULD have had my camera for but I missed. Ugh.

I think that, thus far, this is my favorite picture that I've taken of Lia. She just looks exactly like herself- hat and all! :)

This afternoon, my wonderful, amazing husband watched Lia for an hour so that I could go get my toenails done! It was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!! They are all pretty and the nice nail lady massaged my legs for ten minutes! He is the BEST husband ever and I LOVE him! :) And I now feel ridiculously pampered and spoiled. :)

Sleeping on Dad

Yesterday Lia woke from her nap in her swing screaming bloody murder. Dad was nearby and rescued her, plopped her on his chest and resumed watching his history channel. Lia loved it. She just laid there for about twenty minutes luxuriating in being on something so warm and cuddly...

Does this not look like the definition of being relaxed?
