Lia has many nicknames for the people in her life, some dependent upon person, but more often than naught, dependent upon personality, time of day and general emotion that she is feeling. Weno has been her unisex nickname for anyone she meets (friend, family, foe) it was her catch-all. A few weeks ago she began calling Davy Whoa-we-a. She pronounced it clearly and distinctly every single time and it was what she called him every single day, multiple times a day. I thought it was just another unisex nickname rooted in nothingness.
But last week we were watching Frances (as in Frances and Bread and Jam) and I realized that Lia has been calling Davy Gloria! Gloria is Frances' little sister. I asked her why and she smiled and said simply, "It is because I am Frances." :-)
