Quick Disneyland Post

One story that I will remember forever about Disneyland this time 'round was when we lost Panda. Davy had carefully and thoughtfully chosen a plush panda baby in Adventure Land and immediately became attached to the stuffy. He carried it around and just loved on it for the whole day. The next day we were walking through California Adventure and Davy dropped Panda. We realized it and grabbed him, making sure to tell Davy to hold onto him better...

That lasted all of a few seconds...

We got to the gate to leave the park and go back to Disneyland when we heard a shriek from David. He had lost Panda again. Chris immediately walked back the way we had come, looking for the lost bear. My heart sank as I saw him come around the corner after five or six minutes empty handed. Davy shrieked like someone had stabbed him in the heart and threw himself on the stroller, sobbing with utterly heartbroken wracking sobs. It was awful.

After about ten minutes of listening to heartrending sobs, Chris told Davy that he was sure that Panda was in the lost and found and he would go and find him. He then disappeared back into Adventure Land and ten minutes later came out with a ''new'' Panda. Chris thoughtfully told Davy that he was found in Lost and Found, and that they had even given him a bath. :-) The rest of the family set out for the Matterhorn ride, and after they left, Davy turned to me and patted his chest. "It's started again mom." He breathed. I asked him what and he looked up at me with still tear stained eyes and whispered, "My heart. It's started beating again."

Such a sweet little person, so sensitive and loving. But man. So forgetful too! :-)
