Outside 4.8.10

Yesterday afternoon, the light was perfect around six o'clock so Lia and Davy and I ventured outside. I think that these are some of my favorite pictures that I've taken in a while- they are not technically even that good, but I just like something about the story that they convey. There are lots of shots of bare feet, jumping and Lia's shetland pony bangs, but I like 'em all! They capture a little piece of time very well I think.

I kinda love this shot...

How perfect is this light?

On top of the world... and about to slide down it!

I love the sense of movement in the next two, and her face in the second is pretty hilarious too...

Yes, I get that my daughter looks a little like a Shetland pony, but we are trying to grow out her bangs right now...

Again, the light was impeccable

Waiting for Davy to come wooshing down!

One of the best captures I've ever got...

I know these are hideously out of focus, but I just love them. The light, the dreaminess of them. :)

Bracing for impact!

Taking detail shots with babies is kinda impossible...

Because they always want to pick up whatever you're taking a picture of...

They weren't spying on the neighbors, they were merely doing reconnaissance...

Baby toes, even when they are grimy and gross, are still the cutest, sweetest things ever. And yes, I'm aware that was a total oxymoronic sentence. :)

Wow, that light IS perfect!! Did you have to do any editing to get it to look that way, or are these straight out of the camera shots?
