Davy doesn't last too long with picture taking sessions lately... Lia on the other hand has started to be interested in them... :-)

Dogpile

The kids always play for a while before falling asleep; most of the time now they fashion themselves a ''boat'' (out of their blankets) and fill it with their stuffed animals/toys/pillows. Sometimes they end up falling asleep in their actual beds in a normal fashion, but more often than not, they end up in a big dog pile in the bed.

(Creepy) Fun with Tape...

 

A few nights ago I was making dinner and heard Lia and Davy giggling. I walked around the corner of the kitchen to see this. It freaked me out, but made me giggle too. I did give them a lecuture on how dangerous it is to tape people's orfices shut... plus, I don't think Davy liked the whole waxed eyebrow look that followed as I ripped the tape off...

 

Lia's 4th Birthday!

I really wish that the quality of these pictures were better; but I was out of habit of taking pictures of the kid's so they sort of suck. Oh well. :-) Lia is four whole years old! Amazing, incredible and unbelievable that she is four. Next year she will be five. *squeak* She is such a wonderful, principled, disciplined, whimsical, funny, imaginative, original, unique, gorgeous little soul.

Breakfast in bed! The Birthday Fairy came and left glittery pink fairy dust all over the tray (which held powdered donuts and sparkling apple juice!) as well as a Princess Balloon and lip gloss kit.

 

Opening presents over at Grandma and Grandpa's house

David was the designated present carrier. Some of the boxes were bigger than he was!

Blowing out a lemon cake with pink frosting that Mommy made. :-)
