So sleepy

A few days ago Chris and I walked in to find Lia asleep like this...

I love how she puts her little hands under her chin, I've never seen anyone in real life do that before.

Early morning date

Tuesday morning, before the storm hit in all its fury, Lia and I woke up at 6am and decided to go on a date. It was pouring down rain so we both got on our rain boots and jackets and ventured out into the still dark, wet world.



Chocolate milk and a bagel with cream cheese was our menu :)

Rain boots rock! I didn't notice before that our boots are the opposite of each other. :) Red with black dots and black with red dots.

Wharf

A few days ago, Lia, Davy and I went to the wharf. We watched the sea lions, had lunch and then Lia got an ice cream cone. I love the way she eats her ice cream cones, she just oozes through the top of it (licking around the cone is a foreign idea to her)and then when its at the same level as the cone she bites off the bottom. Then, of course, the ice cream comes oozing out the bottom so then I have to go and dump the rest of the contents somewhere. We also fed some very over zealous seagulls. :)

When we were in the candy shop getting our ice cream one of the ladies gave her a piece of saltwater taffy. She enjoyed it on the way home. :)

Borrowed finery

Lia borrowed the hood from a coat of mine to look like a fashionable eskimo...

My little bagel boy

One of Davy's favorite snacks is a frozen whole wheat bagel, he can gnaw on it with his single tooth but he can't really get very much off of it. I think its so hilarious when he really DIGS his mouth on it and basically grabs it with both hands and shakes his head with it in his mouth. :)
